Profile: 

I went to Swansea art school and successfully completed the first half of an art teachers diploma, then the war and an early marriage intervened and I left.

I returned to painting when my husband died and took a Post A-Level. I work in Gouache, Oils and Pastels. I love buildings, boats and rugged scenery, it's therapy and something to occupy me.

I try to abide by the Impressionist Principle of painting not the object but the light falling on the object.
